Ever since his dad bought their first PC in 1986, Steve has been hooked on technology. He loves tinkering with computers and electronic devices the way some other guys love fixing cars and sports.
The coolest thing about Steve’s job draws upon his inherent love of computerized automation.
“My job involves looking for better ways of doing things and in so doing I can help my colleagues make their jobs easier, help the company save and I get to learn a lot. It’s really a win-win thing.”
And one of the things he enjoys the most is brainstorming with other Energizer colleagues from across the company to improve everything around him, including himself.
“There’s always one common practice; each team member’s view, suggestions or opinions are treated with respect and valued regardless of his/her position. Each one is given a chance to present his/her idea, and everybody else listens. When everyone is treated with respect, the team becomes stronger and it’s easier to work together to achieve a common goal.”
