Inspired by her grandmother who sacrificed everything for her children and grandchildren, La’Keisha has spent a lifetime looking for opportunities for growth and to try new things.
Having recently moved from Value Stream Leader to HR Manager, La’Keisha has shown a willingness throughout her career to explore new paths, develop new skill sets, and inspire the people around her along the way.
Going from Operations to HR is no small feat. With a real passion for learning, Energizer helped further her career opportunities by helping La’Keisha obtain her MBA.
While studying, La’Keisha learned that culture is a complex concept and eludes a simple definition.
“Culture is the ‘software of the mind’ because much like a computer’s operating system it provides us with an essential code by which we make sense of the world. The Energizer culture is best described as team-oriented, goal-oriented and driven. When working on projects, we can agree to disagree, but in the end we are one team driven to complete our goals.”
