Foodie finally learning to cook.
Muhammad is passionate about food. He even has a database of where to find the best food in every city in Indonesia. Yet, he wasn’t a gourmet chef himself. Fact is, until a year ago, he didn’t know how to cook at all.
But now, even if he has to try it nine or ten times to get it right, he’s devoted to the art of cooking and pleasing those members of his family who have cooked for him for so long. How does this relate to his role as Marketing Manager?
Muhammad’s motto is “never give up till you get it right.” He believes that as a marketing person, “I cannot stop finding ways to satisfy the consumer. I might not get it right the first time but the effort invested in making it right will eventually create the right result. If I stop, I will lose a consumer or a customer and it is difficult to get them back again. Like cooking, I keep trying until I get it right.”
Muhammad’s motivation to keep challenging and his personal initiative has paid off in abundance. Through a total change in the way Energizer had done business and executed in the past, Muhammad was “very proud when Indonesia finally made it into the $1,000,000 club for Lighting Products. Only 15 countries are in that exclusive club and Indonesia is one of them.”
