energizer's recruitment policy and data privacy agreement
In connection with your completion of an application for a job with Energizer and its affiliates, the personal data you provide in that application, which is collected by Energizer, will be processed in accordance with Energizer’s Recruitment Policy, available on request. By proceeding with the application, you are consenting to Energizer’s collection of your personal information and handling of that information consistent with the Recruitment Policy. If you do not agree, please do not proceed.
Thank you for your interest in a position at Energizer. This Recruitment Policy explains our recruitment information practices and how you can access the information you provide to Energizer as part of the job application process. This Policy applies to the extent permitted by applicable law, and is not intended to supersede or infringe upon any rights protected by applicable law.
Your provision of personal information in connection with the recruiting or job application process confirms your consent for Energizer to collect that information and to use, transfer, retain and share it with third parties as specified in this policy.
Collecting Personal Information. For purposes of recruitment, Energizer asks for certain data, including contact information, qualifications, educational and employment background, applicable licenses or certifications, references, and any other information that you choose to include about yourself. This may include your resume and CV and related information. In addition, to the extent permitted by applicable law, Energizer may collect information about you from third parties, for example, employment references. You specifically authorize Energizer to contact your employment references beginning at the time you provide such reference.
Sensitive Personal Information. Energizer does not ask for information relating to your health condition, religion, sexual orientation, political beliefs, or membership in a trade union. If you voluntarily provide such information to Energizer, you expressly authorize Energizer to handle such information as specified in this policy.
Energizer may ask for information about your racial or ethnic origin for purposes of monitoring equal opportunity. You are not required to provide this information and it will not be part of the selection or hiring process. If you voluntarily provide this information, you expressly authorize Energizer to handle such information as specified in this policy.
Voluntary Disclosure. Your provision of personal information in connection with recruiting is voluntary and you determine the extent of information you provide to Energizer. Please note that if you decide not to provide certain information, it may affect Energizer’s ability to evaluate your job application.
Use of Personal Information. The information you provide may be used to communicate with you and to manage Energizer’s recruiting and hiring processes. If you are hired, the information may be used in connection with employment and corporate management. For these purposes, the information may be shared internally.
Sharing Data with Third Parties. Energizer may share your personal information with third parties as necessary in connection with recruiting, employment, or other legal or regulatory requirements. Any third party with whom Energizer shares your personal information is required to keep that information confidential and use it only in furtherance of the specific purpose for which it was disclosed.
International Transfer. Your personal information may be stored, accessed, transferred or processed in countries globally in a manner consistent with the purposes for which it was collected.
Security and Confidentiality. Energizer treats your personal information as confidential and maintains reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information. Energizer requires the same of any third party with which it may share your personal information consistent with this policy.
Retention. Energizer may retain your information to consider you for other job opportunities. To the extent permitted or required by law, Energizer may delete data at any time.
Access. You may correct the personal information you have provided to Energizer by contacting Energizer Legal Department at 533 Maryville University Drive, St. Louis, MO 63141 USA and advising of changes to be made.
Your Responsibilities. You are responsible for the information you provide to Energizer to ensure that it does not contain material that is obscene, defamatory, or infringes the rights of any third party, does not contain malicious code, and is not otherwise legally actionable. If you provide information concerning another person, for example an employment reference, you are responsible for providing any notices and obtaining any consents necessary for Energizer to collect and use that information.
General. This policy may be amended or revised from time to time and a current version will be available on Energizer’s webpage.
