There’s a certain quality about Ward that inspires people. For one, he insists on everyone calling him Ward. But whether you find him in the company cafeteria or out celebrating with colleagues after a successful product launch, he has both a warmth and a passion to win that makes everyone around him want to succeed.
A long history of leadership.
Ward has served as Chief Executive Officer of Energizer Holdings, Inc. since 2005. Prior to that time, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer from 2004 to 2005, as President, International from 2002 to 2004, and as Vice President, Asia Pacific and Latin America from 2000 to 2002.
Ward has over 25 years of service with Energizer, in international as well as domestic leadership positions, and has obtained extensive knowledge of our business operations and industry dynamics.
He is also a director of Brown Shoe Company, Inc., President of Civic Progress St. Louis and he becomes Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis effective January 1, 2012. He also serves on the Boards of United Way of Greater St. Louis, Regional Commerce and Growth Association of St. Louis and Eden Seminary.
